A very warm welcome to all the charter boats operating in the  British Virgin Islands waters from the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry. We wish you pleasant and safe sailing ahead in the forthcoming season.

This is a gentle reminder to the operators that every boat carrying out commercial operations ( even if only carrying 1 passenger) in the BVI, irrespective of the flag / country of registration,  must be commercially certificated under the MCA Codes of practice for commercial vessels under 24 m in length. These codes are better known as the “Blue” and “Yellow” code.

Information on booking an inspection and the requirements of the codes are available on our website or at the front desk at our office.
